It's been a while since I've checked in, but I'm back and I have good news :)
Since my last check-in, I've submitted all my supplemental applications, got one rejection email, and got TWO interview offers. I was initially extremely nervous because it seems like it's really getting real now, but I've reached a point now where I'm actually excited about them. I'm not at a point where I am 100% confident yet, but I plan to use this weekend to do some interview prep to help me get there. I haven't told too many people where I'm interviewing or that I'm interviewing at all, and I'm really at peace with that. I don't wanna talk about it too much because 1) an interview doesn't guarantee an acceptance, so I feel it's a little premature to talk about interviews, and 2) everybody simply doesn't need to know. You can't share your dreams with everybody because you never know who's rooting for your downfall, so I chose not to share with too many people. When I finally have some post-graduation plans finalized, then I'll start making announcements. Until then, I trust that the people I've told are genuinely praying for me, rooting for me, and want to see me accomplish this goal.
Outside of all that stuff, I'm just trying to stay on top of everything to finish my senior year strong. My course load isn't heavy, but between juggling classes, my thesis, other campus obligations, some traveling I've been doing, research on graduate programs just in case I have to take a gap year or two, AND starting to really do some work that I need to do on myself, I feel overwhelmed. It's just a lot at one time and I don't feel like there was any way I could have prepared for this.
I'm going to work on being better about updating this portion of the website (and the website as a whole) more frequently. After I process how I feel about my interviews next week, I'll check back in to let y'all know how I feel they went. If you read this section of the website, or any of the others, thank you so much for your support. It means a lot to me! See you soon.
